These Jaws are used to aggressively clamp items such as large rolls on the large lathe for turning.
Those rolls often weigh in excess of 80~100 Metric Tons.
Our "HEAVY DUTY JAWS" are different from conventional jaws only by its screw rods- their screw rods are a mechanical-force-boosting screw rods type.
The other apsects of these jaws are the same to those on the conventional jaws.
The jaws exert large clamping forces to heavy workpieces like rolls, large shafts etc., weighing tens of tons,
by driving the jaws' screw rods with a small torque manually.
Large & heavy workpieces will not slip on the serrated faces of the jaws after clamping.
