This machine consists of a bed and table and a main housing carrying a single spindle 100hp motor-driven head having vertical feed and traverse movement. 

The spindle is equipped with a No. 450 taper, 4-1/2" in diameter at the large end, ¾" diameter taper per foot. 

The bed has a finished pad on the left-hand side. 

The machine is equipped with two (2) Extra-Heavy Hydraulic Clamping Fixtures each weighing 140,000 lbs. 

The Machine Bed has a weight bearing capacity of 740,000 lbs. 

That weight capacity is reduced by 140,000 lbs when using one of the Fixtures and by 280,000 lbs when using both of the Fixtures. 

Therefore, a workpiece weighing up to 740,000 lbs may be machined when no Hydraulic Clamping Fixtures are being used, 600,000 lbs when one Hydraulic Clamping Fixture is being used and 460,000 lbs when both Hydraulic Clamping Fixtures are being used.

The Spindle, which is driven by a 100hp motor drive, is supported by a 22" diameter Quill. 

This machine was designed to machine extra large Dies used in an extremely large Closed Die Forging Press.

It is still installed under power and is available for immediate inspection and delivery.
