1500mm ~ 1200mm x 4800mm Swift Roll Lathe 

3 shear bed (no screw cutting)

The head Stock & tail Stock have been risen to accommodate larger swing over the saddle.

These packers are easily removed to bring this Lathe back to its original configuration. 

Dimensions as it stands: 

1) Length between centres           4800mm

2) Swing over saddle                1200mm

3) Swing over Saddle with packers removed    850mm

   Swing over Bed                   1500mm 

4) Lathe has infinite speeds from 0 RPM to 75 RPM

5) The original design is for a 35 Ton work piece

6) Currently this Machine may be seen in working condition & books 

7) We need to remove the Machine to accommodate more Machine area in our work shop for a CNC Machine

8) Up Graded electrics DC Ward Leonard GEN Set Converted to Inverter AC Drive

9) Main Motor 45 KW

The swift roll lathe weighs around 40 tons and needs a 40 ft and 20 ft open tops if saddle comes off,

or a 40 ft flatrack if saddle left on the bed weighs 20 ton with saddle on and head and tailstock off,

all other parts go into a 20 ft container.
