This welding positioner can tilt in a range of 0 – 135º and rotate to locate the works at the optimum welding positions. It features advanced figuration, reasonable structure, reliable and safe performance, easy operation and maintenance.

4. Structural features:
This Model HWP18500-2145x2145 horizontal welding positioner consists of the base, the turntable, the titling mechanism, the rotation transmission mechanism, the tilting supporting mechanism and the electrical control systems, etc..
4.1 Machine base, tilting supporting mechanism, turntable are fabricated with structural parts by welding. They have high rigidity and strength and are free from distortion as stress has been relieved;
The tilting supporting mechanism has its structure in the box type, featuring light weight, high strength and high bending resistance. Thus it can bear large bending moments and torques.
The turntable has its top table as a rectangular with size of 2135 x 2135 mm and thickness of 70mm in the Sandwich construction. On its top four radial T-slots with width of 1-5/16” to receive 1-1/4” bolts. Also these T-slots can be made in the type of pairs parallel T-slots so that independent jaws can be fixed on turntable by connecting to these pairs of parallel T-slots. In this way the turntable can firmly hold works of large sizes and great weights. Independent jaws can be provided along with the machine after their designs are approved by the buyer.
Turntable bore diameter 301.625mm, designed with the alloy steel made spindle assembled with preloaded tapered bearings for ensuring its high revolutionary accuracy and high axial weight loading capacity. The spindle has a through bore.
4.2 The tilting mechanism has its transmission route as: brake motor ?reduction gearbox?output gear?double-side tilting segment gear?turntable. The turntable tilts in range of 0 - 135º.
4.3 The rotating mechanism has its transmission routine as route as: AC variable frequency brake motor?reduction gearbox?output gear?rotation support?turntable. The turntable rotates for 360ºin both anticlockwise and clockwise directions.
4.4 The rotation supports on both the tilting mechanism and the rotation mechanism are in single-row ball type which features the high compression resistance, the high overturning resistance. They have advantages of the tiny axial clearance, the reliable and stable rotation and the high transmission accuracy.
4.5 The electric conduction device are beneath the turntable. Maximum currency is 3000 A.
4.6 Control system consists of the electric cabinet and the hand control box. All the movements of the machine are interlocked for safety. The pedal switch is equipped on the machine. Cables for both the pedal switch and the hand control box are 6m long. Major low-voltage electric components are Schneider made, and control cables are made under a famous brand with reliable insulation and protection against damage.
Forward/stop/reverse controls with self-locking design. Rotation speeds are shown on the digital display. Tilting control is tilting/return.
