HUGE G&L floor plate which is "TOP LEVELING TYPE". 

Picture 602 shows the end view of the floor plate which is typical of a G&L floor plate.

Picture 605 shows the other end with the 12” right angle additions YMT Co. made.  

605 also shows the sections that have been removed from the sides of the floor plate.  

289 shows the 12” right angle plates mounted to one side and an end of the G&L floor plate before the plate was hauled to storage.  

Your customer can have the 12” angle sections if he can use them but they will need to go on a second truck as the G&L plate is at the limit for hauling a single piece.  

The plate weighs 50,000 to 55,000 lbs. and each 12” angle section is probably 500 lbs.  


101.875" x 274.375" x 24" Thick "T" Slotted Floor Plate

This plate was re surfaced and used as part of a large boring machine.  

They recently bought it back from the customer.  

This T slotted floor plate is 24” thick and top leveling.  

Has 12” cast iron extensions on the side and one end.    

Approx.  weight 50,000 lbs.  

The main floorplate is  274.375”  long (22.86 ft.)  by  101.875 inches wide (8.5 ft.). 

 

 

The main basic heavy duty G&L floor plate is  274.375”  long (22.86 ft.)  by  101.875 inches wide (8.5 ft.) by approximately 24” thick .

That gives you 194 SQUARE FEET.

The 12” angle sections are removable and not for much weight load– just to keep chips out of the foundation pit and to walk on.

BY ADDING THE Angles to it, It makes the plate surface 240 SQUARE FEET OF SURFACE AREA
