Working Principle: Hollow Spinning

Working Process: Cold Forming below 12°C

Material Types:

Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel & Copper Alloys and any formable material by cold spinning


he overhaul was done when the machine was installed in UAE, i.e. in 2015. 


The machine can be segregated into the 4 parts:

-          Hydraulic Piston Clamp (top and bottom) to grab the dish

-          Dishing Unit

-          Flanging Unit

-          Auxiliary Units – Manipulator; Hydraulic Pump Unit

 

Hydraulic Piston Clamp

-          The pistons were inspected for wear and tear and found no damaged

-          The pistons were greased and inserted in the sleeves

-          The valves were inspected and changed if found damaged

-          The seals were changed

 

Dishing Unit

-          The motor which move the dishing unit was checked whether it required rewinding

-          The guide rails where check for wear and tear and none was found

-          The guide rails were greased

-          The spinning chuck motor was checked whether required re-winding

-          The dies were checked for wear and tear and greased

 

Flanging Unit

-          The motor which move the Flanging unit was checked whether it required rewinding

-          The guide rails where check for wear and tear and none was found

-          The guide rails were greased

-          The hydraulic connections to the forming roll were checked

-          The flanging dies were checked for wear and tear and greased

 

Auxiliary Unit – Manipulator

-          The motors were checked whether requires rewinding

 

Auxiliary Unit – Hydraulic Pump Unit

-          Pipings which were damaged were replaced

-          Faulty valves were replaced.
